Hey Scott! Cool site here! Since I'd spent so many years living near/hanging around Burleigh Park, I thought I'd tell you what I know. The chained-in dwelling is an old potato/vege storage and the 'cave' was always referred to as the witches' dungeon. Brings back memories!

Thank you Beckie...the stone chambers are very controversial and they have been called everything from root cellars to druid temples. The strange part about the Palmer chamber is when it was found it was buried under the surface and there were no dwellings ever built there.

Lived in Warren for a long time, I know plenty of paranormal things in this town. There is a spot called 'Land of the Little People' where in the 1600's, there was a village of little people living in the woods after being banished from the rest of society.
There are 'coondogs' living in the woods by the old K.O.A. campsite that are some kind of genetically mutated dog breed. There have been multiple sightings and I've even seen one myself (it had a glowstick tied to its face) and it was very disfigured from a normal dog.
There are actual witches that live downtown in a castle across from the fire department in Warren. They have rituals where they dance around naked in the woods, and they can be seen walking around downtown with their 13 children.
In Spencer, MA 3 friends and I have witnessed a UFO fly directly above our heads shining a spotlight down at us. We believe we were abducted because of a shared feeling of lost time occuring.
Also, the road where you said you went by once and couldn't find again? That has happened to me as well with the same road. The story is that there used to be quite a few houses on that road, but every single one has burned down over the years so eventually they stopped building houses there and closed the road.
Not to mention the story of 'Satan's Harvest'.
